Fieldhouse Farm has been our family home for five generations. We're glad to share our part of the countryside with you and hope you'll enjoy your experience of "Real Yorkshire", full of colour, character and those timeless rhythms of country life. We're blessed by being in a lovely rural location, very close to the sea, only a stone's throw from the spectacular scenery of Flamborough Head and Bridlington's safe, sandy beaches. Bridlington was awarded the prestigious "Yorkshire Visitor Destination of The Year 2007."
Holiday with us and appreciate nature close at hand. There is an abundance of wildlife in our fields - a rich habitat for hare, deer, skylarks, owls, partridge and wildflowers. Our wildlife pond, created in 2007, now has plenty of pond-life and is heavily populated with frogs, newts, fish and water-lilies. Wander up to the R.S.P.B Bempton Reserve, and you'll discover why it is famed for puffins, gannets and migrant seabirds. In winter, if you are lucky, you will see porpoises playing in the waves. We have several farm walks for you to follow. It's possible to cover about 5 miles without leaving the farm or retracing your steps!

Children love our cows, young calves, the bull, Harry, orphan lambs in spring, Jess the collie dog, Fudge the rabbit, Bea-Bea and Clint the farm cats and our rare breed chickens - Gerty, Peggy, Sybil, Rose, Beryl, Olive and Enid. Ask, and you can help collect the eggs in the morning. We're a real working farm, so you'll see tractors and the combine harvester in action over the summer months.
Four of our cottages, The Roost, The Turnip House, The Old Dairy and Ostler's Corner, face onto a sunny courtyard with colourful flower beds. The Garden Cottage opens onto our walled garden, whilst Hind's and The Byre have views over our fields. Each cottage is individually designed, thoughtfully planned, furnished and fitted with utmost care. We try to think of everything to make you feel at home and we respond to our guest's very helful suggestions.
The photo below shows Bea-Bea sunning herself in the garden. It's a hard life!
